DH-114 Vampyre II *fictional*

Post by CF-116 »

Two years of working, reworking, frustration, and patience has finally paid off.

I present to you all my creation the DH-114 Vampyre II. Only one clean paint as of yet but feel free to repaint as long as credited accordingly. All modelling done by my with the excepton of the nacelles (I think I got them from tf-58), and the fuel tank (bnipack).

- Designed as a COIN/CAS/Attack aircraft
- T.O. Speed 160kts wheels up, maintain runway heading in ground effect to build speed until 200kts
- Landing speed 100kts

This is what happens when an OV-10 breeds with an Cessna 337 Skymaster :D Not to shabby at all.

Well it doesn't seem all that similar to original Vampire, other than that tail I guess. I wonder what the original Vampyre was?

Does the spelling make that much of a difference? haha. I used the vampire for some inspiration as well as the ov-1 and ov-10.

I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

Very nice! Smaller planes are always nice to have.
Am I back? Probably not.
