We love the hype our new pack has generated, and we're eager to get them to the community so you guys can enjoy them. But join a squad (any squad) because you want to fly and have a good time with friends online, that's what's important.

That being said, expect release very, very soon ;)

"Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg...and my arm...even my fingers. The body I've lost...the comrades I've lost...won't stop hurting. It's like they're all still there. You feel it too, don't you? I'm going to make them give back our past"

If having the planes is that valuable to you, you could always join the 49th...

Oh, I'd not meant to imply that he should join simply to gain access to the planes. If that is his only interest, that would be a poor reason to join. I would agree, however, that they have been very effective in drumming up interest. Most aren't really to my taste, but they're certainly very well done.

And NeurAxal, I see little cause for confusion. While we may fight, sometimes in unpleasant ways, I've absolutely no ill will towards the 49th. There are many folks I respect a great deal who are present or past members. As an admin on this site with a special interest in combat, I'm eager to see the success of every combat squadron, including those which I may engage in virtual combat.

Sometimes Janet needs some help servicing the Groom Lake facility. This was taken on the Arizona 2014 map.

Patrick and I had a nice long flight from Serosa to Cashville earlier this evening. Patrick flew the NCA 757-200 while I was in a UPS MD-11F. I had to deviate off course for a bit to lose some altitude (you know how MD-11s just like to keep on flying) while Pat kept on course. I then turned south on a 180 heading to join the RWY 9C localizer while Pat opted for 9R. The result was a simultaneous approach:
Pat established for RWY 9R while I'm just under his port wing flying straight ahead for 9C.

I haven't had much sleep, currently at work and have been out of the loop for quite some time. I have a life. Cut me some slack.
