I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

A slight problem for two of us on YSCAS. One has more than 100% fuel, the other has 20 flares when the plane has 120 set in the .dat file.

I don't think I'm loading the flares definition from the file, I'll investigate.

Also which aircraft name from which pack had the funky fuel?

Both are from the NCA pack. The fuel was on the 777 and the flares on the MD11.

I confirmed that the initial fuel on the 777 is 75% in the .dat and flares on the MD11 is 120 in its .dat.

I just tested taking off with several different planes that I know have 120 flares in the .dat and only 20 were loaded.

The "funky fuel" aircraft was flown by me. Not much of a problem but I decided to burn off as much extra as I could by first flying to Hilo and then turning right on a SEA-HNL run. Even then I landed with 114% fuel (started out at 141%). :D

50 hours and still running.

Something interesting just happened. I logged in and started hearing explosions. I went to observer mode and saw a plane flying, an NCA Dash 8. It was pointed nearly straight down. It hit the ground and exploded. I didn't think to save the flight to go back and look at the other explosions.

EDIT: Another note: The memory used is very low, even with a couple or three people online.

I think the vehicles list is having the same issues as the user list. Would explain all I've seen. Sort that out tonight - same fix.

Now Updated to Version 20150825(1139)

Changes:
+ReadWriteLockSlim applied to the vehicles list and deffered packets list - this should speed things up a bit and make it more secure.
+Sky now changes colour towards black above ~40,000ft to ~100,000ft. I'm still not 100% happy with this, so if you have a suggestion on what to make the color be, please let me know.
+Fog color change effects with the time of day as well. Sunset/sunrise look a little better now.
+Default fog color changed from 160 160 160 to 120 140 160 - it's a little bluer and looks more like a hazy horizon should. Next version this will fade back towards 160 160 160 depending on fog distance (pure fog is white, not atmosphere blue.)
+Crash fix to loading strings in settings file where the supplied string was of length 0.
+Lost vehicles in the vehicles list are now being caught as part of maintenance and integrity checks in the MicroTick method.
-Removed Nukes

Notes:
Nothing special to mention.

it would be niffty if Soji could do something like this in YSFlight itself. :)

The previous version made it 60 hours to the second and was still running. I can't get the stock console to work that well!

I've started testing your new release. I like the new sky and fog colors for the day/night changes. I made it up to 60,000 ft in a stock F15 before it stalled, but it was looking darker.

Of course, all these great features only work with the newest stable release of YSF. ;)

Not that I know of. It should work fine though.

Folks I've noticed people are having a few issues with some aircraft and packs.

When you try and join in one aircraft, the connection crashes. When you try and login with certain addon packs, the connection crashes.

I need to know the name of the aircraft you tried to spawn with and the name of the pack causing the log issues - only then can I solve. I've got some data to work on for now though so hopefully I can solve 1 of these 2 problems. more info to come.

I've been seeing a few people getting kicked off the server. I've talked to at least two people who it sounds like were kicked, but I don't know how or why. They say YS just stops. I don't know if it is on their end or on OYS. Usually it shows that they have left the server and then OYS says "Found a lost vehicle... Cleaned it up."

In my experience, the server warns me that I'm not doing anything (although I'm actively flying and making inputs) Right before this my ys chat no longer works, and everything I type doesn't show up for me or others, then 60 seconds pass, and I get kicked.

sounds like half the connection is getting killed. Well, the clients receive loop may be crashing. That's a good bit of info to start looking for.

Do you think it will do any good for me to have the "kick bots" option turned off? I turned it off, so we'll see if people continue being kicked.
