Here's my project I've been busy with for the past few months

It's the very hot, humid and sandy middle east!

Image

Airports completed so far:
OMDB Dubai International
OMSJ Sharjah
OMAA Abu Dhabi International
OBBI Bahrain International
OEDF Dammam (Kind Fahd International)
OERT Ras Tanura
OESB Shaybah
OKBK Kuwait International

Only OERK Riyadh to go until I will start adding ground objects such as the Burj Al Kalifa, Burj Al Arab, landable oil rigs and a few sand dunes for dune buggies. There's also the main highway from Kuwait all the way to Dubai for those who prefer to drive.

Expect more updates to follow soon, where things will be knocked into 12th gear.

Persian Gulf right..? Very well made...not as if your other work isn't! I can't wait. I can see you've also spent a TON of time on those roads, they look beautiful!

Hey Dan. Are you going to have the Yas Marina & Bahrain Formula 1 tracks in this map? Can't wait!

I've moved on to another of Owl's aircraft. In this case it was his Learjet 35 that I modified into a Learjet 23 a while back for LIL'CRaMP. Now I'm updating it with moving parts. It got a new set of engines, flaps, ailerons, spoilers, and lights. I'll be working on the elevators and rudder next.

I put a lot of work into the engines, and I'm really happy with them. I traced them in gepolyo test version with a background image of the real engine.

My general rant: I will call them blended winglets, not Sharklets; There is no CEO, it's just simply put, an Airbus 319/320/321, or the 320NEO, 321NEO etc. I didn't land IN DAL, I landed AT DAL. On the other hand, I did land in Dallas.

Here is the blank along with a painted one. I'll do one or two more paints before I release them. I redid the nose to make it round instead of pointy.

I added a Lufthansa livery. Why not? Those logos took an hour to put together and I'm going to use them!

We've had TF58's very well done AC-130 for many years now, but I felt it really needed some updating. It's not a real variant, but I took inspiration from the many Spooky's made after the U model. (and the battlefield 3 one)

Image

Image

Main features: "Ball" Camera/sensors (main ones tied to turret movement)
6 bladed props from C-130J
Various missile and bomb carrying pylons
Droppable fuel tanks
Anti aircraft auto turrets
Nav lights

Basic two configurations:
"Bomber"
8 250lb SDB's
4 500lb JDAMS
2 500lb HD
6 AIM9's

"Ultimate Gunship"
8 Hellfire missiles
152 rockets
2 AIM 9X's
8 AIM120's
2 Fuel tanks

I've also changed the 7.62 minigun to be AI controlled (ground only) so you can focus on using the 105 howitzer and 40 bofors cannons.

Pepsi Concorde? Why not? :) I'd love to fly it!

VERY close to finishing the chickens project. Ayylmao

Image

Added improvements include:
- New "sorta realistic" .dat file (Formation tested. Two thumbs up)
- heavily modified pilot model
- fixed animations for control surfaces
- added "Cockpit Footage" F1 (Looking back at pilot)
- additional antennae added to model
- fixed tail shading issues
- As a throwback, left side of canopy does not have a flag panel, but the "Spirit Of 9/11" decal they stopped wearing in '07
- fixed size of nose cone stripes

Next is the bird and the numbers. Hopefully it turns out well during the modding process

I decided to take a break from Hispaniola (I was only working on it for a few hours and already took a week-long break) to work on something else. I'm only going to make two airports for this map.

Some of the roads are not 100% accurate. ;)

Zoomed in.
The darker roads are, though.

Those look amazing! If there was one way you could add detail to maps it would have to be roads. I mean seriously. You make long distance maps, right? People are going to be cruising at 30000+ feet, the elevation grids...well...they're not important especially if the "city" is far away from the airport.

If it is San Fransisco,I hope there's an aircraft carrier after Golden Gate Bridge because it frequently spotted there in some flight simulators.... :D

Well, since I used the San Fierro streets, baseball field, and country club from my San Andreas map, I might as well add the naval base.

Gud nyus everyjuan: numbers have been added and the bird is done. But now, the top decals are starting to glitch out. I'm tempted to leave the shrinkwrapping at 0.05 instead of 0.04. I also don't feel right having a really sensitive dat file so I am in the process of fixing it.
