I also have some problems.

Each time the program is started, this does not show; it only happens after server restarts, using /restartnow or as part of the reset timer.
Here is the associated error log.

Also, weapons tend to shake a lot while in flight and /fogcolor and /skycolor do not appear to work on my client (although I am the owner). I do not know whether these issues are limited to my own install.

"weapons shake in flight"

Side effect of wind - YSF bug.

/fogcolor and /skycolor aren't quite working as intended anymore sue to the environment color fading - I plan to fix this soon!

Server error log using the latest OYS version download.
Occurs exactly after hitting the "j" key on client computer to join server session.
Console screen and everything looks and loads fine up 'til that point.

Thanks C P - not entirely sure why String32Chars is being passed a null string but I've added a work around to set it to an empty string if it gets one - next release.

I don't know why but I've tried to set the initial flares in many different ways, all of which don't seem to have any effect.

I give up.

Nevermind, worked out why - the clients send a "this is what I want to load" request to the server, and the server should respond with what TO load. I am now doing this accordingly.

This is now done. If the setting "Enable*Color" is set, the time fading will be overwritten with the colors specified.

Use /FogColor ON or /FogColor OFF to enable/disable on the fly.

Setting the fogcolor with /FogColor R G B will also work and turn it on automatically. Remember to turn it off though if you want the environment back to normal!

Next release.

---

Fixed a bug with "/Weather" where if the daylength was infinite (ie cycle is 0) the time returned would be 1200 or 0000 instead of the actual time.

---

Finally got around to adding immortality now that I can inspect the weapons loading.

Can only immortal if spawned without weapons (Guns okay as I can remove the ammo...). Also can't be immortal with fuel tanks. Sorry, but they CAN be used as bombs. (See the VFA-49 Valkyrie for example). It's a command meant for civil flights mostly anyway. It works by every microtick setting your strength to 255 - no weapon in game should ever deal this much damage - it's not infallable but unless you can deliver 255 damage every 0.1 seconds...

Last two versions dead in the water here.
0908 had a log file, above.
1339 works great with my lightning generator (for a while).
Will put it up now, in case anyone's awake ... lol

Are you trying to run OpenYS-ClientMode or OpenYS-ServerMode?

Server mode to run OYS Server as per YSCAS etc.

Client mode is really just to use some advanced functions and requires a host running as defined in the settings file.

"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:7914"

Basically your client is trying to connect to 127.0.0.1 (your own pc, to a ysflight server running on port 7914.

Check this.

When upgrading, please be 100% that you have replaced ALL .DLL's and PDB's - I'm getting bug reports for features I'm sure are fixed.

To whoever isn't upgrading the entire install, please chime in?

TFan and I have noticed that the wind is backwards. I type in /wind 24005, and OYS shows that it is 240 at 5 kts, but the effect in YSF is that the wind is coming from 060 at 5 kts. Is this an OYS issue or a YSF issue?

Also, I had an error:

well it isn't done but honestly given the frequency I am updating, and that installing is pretty much drag and drop, the installer can probably take a spot on the bench for a while.
