I will probably have to completely re-make the flap movers or do some really heavy editing on the existing mesh to clean it up. The engines are also being stubborn and their slight inward angle is not making things easier to animate. That being said I have all the control surfaces, spoilers and the main landing gear rigged up and ready to go.

All said, without a cockpit, the model is sitting right around 21k vertices and 15.5k faces. cabin windows will probably be around 2-3k vertices, but I'm trying to be a bit more conservative so there is more for the cockpit and eventual paint schemes. I found with the 787 that a detailed paint scheme might add upwards of 10k vertices, so some of those models were 45k+ vertex count.
omg !:o :o :o :o :o :o ,i want to see it in Air New Zealand colours

Will this be painted in United Airlines Battleship livery? A picture is here of a 757 in that livery. Image

It's to early in the 767 project to think about paint schemes! :D When I get all the bugs worked out of the animations and have a blank done, then I can begin to think about paint schemes. Considering that I have not even begun to animate anything, there is quite a way to go.

Aside from some minor touch-ups, the F-20 pack is just about ready to go. I'm really excited about the F-20 Advanced Demonstrator model. It's come out quite well. I will be including a complete set of blank F-20s for painting, and I will probably release another decal pack update not to long afterwards as I've got a few more decals to release after the 787 and F-20 projects.

Well the F-20s are up and flying in the YSFlight inventory, so now my modding focus has shifted to the 767. Today I spent about 4 hours working on the landing gear, sorting out animation bugs and getting everything working. Some other pieces were animated, like the control surfaces and spoilers.

The Boeing 767 is coming along quite nicely, but after the Civilian flights last weekend, I fell in love again with the 757-200 with winglets and decided to modify the HAVA 757-200 to have this fuel-saving devices! While I was at it, I cleaned up the 757 mesh and fixed a bunch of shading issues! :D

More work on the 767, mainly focused on the cockpit and some of the doors and other markings.

The instruments will be in the Cockpit.srf file while the dashboard will be visible in the normal views. This will help save on rendering while just flying about.

i have a question about the F-20s. why did you make a tail hook on the model but not animate it for use?

Yes. Airforce aircraft have the hook but it is only used in emergencies. If it were a navy aircraft I would have animated it.

The 767 went for its maiden flight last night and a host of animation errors were found and some have been fixed. I'm still not so happy with the leading edge flaps, but we will see what I can do with those.

Looks amazing nonetheless!
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for my signature, I can tell you I don't have one. But what I do have are a very particular lack of skills, skills I have imagined having over a very long career. Skills that make me are completely useless in any situation. If you stop reading now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't stop reading, I will look for you, I will probably not find you, and I will kill your refrigerator.

Looks absolutely fantastic as always, but I do have an observation:

Those main gear underbelly doors should probably be in retracted position while on the ground. :)

Unless that's one of those "animation errors" you are in the process of correcting, in which case please ignore the above.

My general rant: I will call them blended winglets, not Sharklets; There is no CEO, it's just simply put, an Airbus 319/320/321, or the 320NEO, 321NEO etc. I didn't land IN DAL, I landed AT DAL. On the other hand, I did land in Dallas.
