What do you guys think about durian

hey guys,if you are from south east asia,you will know what a durian is,if you dont,one thing you should know about durian is the smell.
for me,durian is good,for the others,its bad.
im immune to the smell,others hate the smell.
so have you ever tried durian?

I have never even seen one in person, but they like to throw them in the basket of TV cooking competitions here in the US to test the cook's ability to use such a rare ingredient.

Nothing beats a fresh-from-the-tree peach in July. But it's the end of December.

Its smelly,but if you beat the smell,its actually good.

What sort of flavour does a Durian give?

I love tropical fruits like Mangoes so if it's similar I'd love to try one.

i cant describe it,but it has a little bit of milky taste to it,i have even tried chocolate that has a durian inside,and right now im eating some durian milk candy.

Gives a new definition to muching a durrie though so perhaps that's why we can't get it in Australia. :lol:

I've had a durian drink. Tasted a bit like a mango,peach,orange combo with a dry after taste. Or maybe that's because it was made from a powdered mix

Isn't it illegal in Singapore to travel with it on public transit? I haven't tried it, but I've seen plenty of poor souls on youtube who regretted it. Still, I probably should try it.

first,yes,but i dont live in Singapore,second,you should try,however,is the smell that is the problem,once you eat one,it has a custardy taste.
