(DONE) Username Changed to xX_SuperSic_Xx

Post by Flake » Mon Jan 04, 2016 1:01 pm

Let me explain my username origins first:

Flake is the primary part of my username that won't change - it's a nickname I got in high school and it's served me well, so I'm keeping that.

"Officer", contrary to popular beleive does not refer to the police forces, but to the title of commissioned officers in the defence forces.

I am finding distaste after 6-7 years of using the "Officer" prefix due to it's common misinterpretation and me moving on with my interests in life.

I would ask the prefix is a title - eg: (probably not any of these though): Sir, Master, Doctor etc. or some other descriptive measure that captures my personality.

It's a big ask, but wondering what people can come up as I'm stumped. The only other prefix I've used is "Dagoth", from TES:III Morrowind, but that's often misread as "Da Goth" (The goth) so it's not really suitable either.

Just throw every and any descriptive adjective at me you can, if you are interested in helping me choose a new title! :)

---

Info about me:

Was a Cadet Sergeant in the air force cadets, acheived cadet of the year once and dux once.
Study Accounting, Finance and Business at the University of Newcastle.
Love to play Chess
Love to ride Motorcycles, and love MotoGP - fans of Valentino Rossi for his charisma, Dani Pedrosa for his humility, Jorge Lorenzo for his precision, and Marc Marquez for his aggression (though my respect for him as a person has waned after the tragic end to the 2015 season). I love the CBR600RR and CBR250RR(MC22)
I'm Married - my wife studies Law.
I love Music and Electric Guitar - I draw inspiration from artists like Plini, Joe Satriani, Metallica, Intervals and Monuments.
My favourite aircraft is the F/A-18A (or c, doesn't really matter).
My favourite jet team are the USN Blue Angels, espec. #5 Lead Solo.
I'm a coder in C# (duh)
I'm a white collar worker in Motel Administration/Reception
Obsessed with traditional Japanese culture. (I hope to visit the country soon!) - perhaps Japanese titles and honorifics would interest me?

---

Ideas for prefixes/suffixes I like (in order of preference)
  • SergeantFlake (From my Cadet Days)
  • MotoGP_Flake (obv.)
  • Flake28 (My racing number)
  • MajorFlake (First username I ever had online, but misconstrued with size.)
  • MasterFlake (Indicitave of proficiency, but I don't particularly like this one...)
  • FlakeAndBake (because I uh... like... cooking? Yes that will do... [This ones a joke])
  • CaptainFlake (eh? of what?)
  • DagothFlake (6th house in Morrowind, but easily misconstrued)
  • Flake-Sama (Japanese honorific, but also very arrogant to refer to oneself with an honorific.)
Honestly I'm just waiting for the right descriptor to come along - something I can read and say "That's me!", you know?

Just Flake will do; a prefix isn't completely necessary.

I completely agree - I prefer not being called by the complete username, just "Flake".

Unfortunately when I try to sign up for a lot of online services, the name is taken... :(

Which is why I need a distinguishing title.

I agree with raven. Just flake will do. Simple, clean and somewhat professional.

By keeping the prefix you keep the difficulty in probunciating your full name. It's such a drag having to type out your full name you know.

But if you insist on having a prefix may I suggest "Head". "HeadFlake" as in head of the flake clan, headmaster of the flakes... The flakes of the head.

Also okay with a suffix if it fits. I just need something to make my name unique in other places! :D

I was thinking CornFlake, and as you get older and your hair turns gray you could become FrostedFlake.

Or what about Señor Escama?
