yeah,same as me....almost confuse it with CHF's B777.... :?
and-400ER having 4 extra tires which makes the main gear tires 12,not 8

Fact: Boeing actually did re-use the immediate forward section of the 767 on the 777 (from the nose to just behind the cockpit).

Of course, that's the only similarity. The 777 fuselage is much thicker/wider, the engines are larger, the wings are larger, etc. And the 777 sits higher on the ground. Also don't forget the six-wheel bogies of the 777 main gear.

I should totally do a size comparison once this 767 is released.

One interesting piece of info that I have found is that the 767-400 was so large it needed 777 landing gear.

Also you can easily tell the 777 from the 767 from two distinctive features.
(1) The 777 has a flat rear fuselage, while the 767 has a rounded tail cone.
(2) The 777 engines are almost as large as the fuselage. (Not quite, but the diameter of the engines are proportionally much larger compared to the fuselage than other aircraft out there.

Here's a great side-by-side shot. (777 in background)

The 767-400ER does not have 777 main gear:

http://www.flugzeuginfo.net/acimages/7674er_kp.jpg

It does have strengthened main gear (more so than the -200ER and -300/-300ER) but not the six-wheel bogies.

Another fact: The GE-90 on the 777 is currently the world's largest turbofan engine. All variants, from the base -76B to the -115B have about the same width as that of the 737 cabin. The RR and PW engines on the 777 have a smaller diameter.

Those main gear underbelly doors should probably be in retracted position while on the ground. :)

Unless that's one of those "animation errors" you are in the process of correcting, in which case please ignore the above.
Those are indeed animation errors. I always mix up the open when down and open for transition CLA animations in Blender. The nose gear doors are also reversed in that image. I have these guys fixed up now as they are simple changes to make, just annoying... :D

Okay I have all three variants (200, 300, 400) all made up as blanks. I am currently working on a smallish selection of paint schemes to do an initial release with. I also have some of the mesh components for the E-767 and KC-767 done up, but that will take a while longer.

The world waits, holding its collective breath, hoping for the moment the hangar door slides open and decaff's 767s roll out.

[sarcasm]That totally does not look like a decaff job.[/sarcasm]

Props to ya mate! (Or in this case, jet engines). Looks absolutely amazing, as always. Only thing I would suggest is moving the lights to the end of the raked wingtips. Other than that, accuracy be decaff personified.

Tanker Trials were conducted today. Issues with the controls for the boom were noted. The Receiving pilot noted turbulence and had some trouble maintaining formation with the tanker, so the contact was called off during today's testing.

I don't recall but do you have a list of the repaints you're doing somewhere or is it classified until it's released besides the teasers?

Haha, gotta love redacted documents. You didn't have to cover up the Delta though lol that's up there. That is a lot though. I've got a UPS 767 sitting on top of my desk at home so I was hoping that made the list. Then every die-cast on my desk with the exception of one will be represented in YS. :D
