Only one issue, that HUD will never displayed if in game switch to "Tower View" mode.

It was not made to be that way. I personally like the Head Up Display being in the F1 mode only, because in outside view it becomes too much of an annoying distraction when I'm trying to fly.

You'll be able to get the HUD displays outside in F7/F8 mode, but not in F3, F9 or F10 mode.

I could NOT resist remaking a lovable movie scene after discovering the great mountain ranges of the Grand Canyon map. :D

@Kujo
As long as you don't experience any compressor stalls, flat spins or forgetting to make sure your canopy has cleared the aircraft BEFORE your RIO punches out, then you're good.

So Kujo and I did some flying around the great Grand Canyon map this evening. He decided to fly the 744 ('cause Kujo does like a challenge) and I stuck to the trusty stock T-4. Anyway, we decided to go to Echo Bay Airport, and then headed off to Temple Bar Airport. Kujo let me go first, but as I sped down the runway, I had no idea he was closing in fast until he said "speed up Turbofan! Speed up!"

And I look back and see the following :lol:

When you leave be sure to watch out for KLM's charging you off the runway.

After radar detected a flight of 5 Mig 15s and MIg 17s, a pair of F-8s were scrambled to defend the airspace. One F-8 had to RTB due to mechanical issues, leaving the sole F-8 (pictured below) to complete the mission. After pickling off his missiles, the courageous F-8 pilot moved in to employ his cannons against the remaining enemy aircraft. A fierce high-speed and high-g dogfight ensued in the valleys of the mountain range until the Lone F-8 finally eliminated the last threat. Low on fuel the F-8 climbed to 25k to conserve fuel and was nursed back to the nearest airfield nearly 100 nautical miles away and landed on fumes. Here you can see the aircraft shut down on the runway as the engine finally sputtered and died.
