My general rant: I will call them blended winglets, not Sharklets; There is no CEO, it's just simply put, an Airbus 319/320/321, or the 320NEO, 321NEO etc. I didn't land IN DAL, I landed AT DAL. On the other hand, I did land in Dallas.

The A380 is ahead of its time. With the resilient passenger traffic growth for times to come (reference from Airbus's Global Market Forecast), plus congested airports, the A380 could not be ignored.

As for Airlines which may have been on more than one of the above:
AirTran
American Airlines
Delta Airlines
Northwest Airlines
Southwest Airlines
US Airways
I've been trying to get some variety in the domestic stuff lately, but there's only so much variety to choose from so this is it for now. I'm pretty sure this list is gonna get longer next week but I still think that's a lot right there. Man I love aviation!

Re: Aircraft you have flown in as a passenger
This was most definitely a DC-10 (either the 30 or the 40) since NW did not operate the MD-11. I really wanted to fly in the DC 10 at least once. Oh wellVNAF ONE wrote:DC-10/MD-11 (not sure, NWA circa 1998)

Aditya: I flew AI seevral times back in the late 80s/early 90s when I was a kid, and while the service wasn't too bad then, the on-time performance sucked. These days, from what I gather the service sucks also. It is called the "National Shame" for a reason.

I found Indian Airlines' service to be about average, flew it once from BOM to the old BLR. And had a reactionary F/A who told me to stop taking photos (perfectly legal to do so since 2007 in India) when the aircraft was on short final. Kind of ruined the experience.

For a second the vehicle was airborne and you were technically a passenger. Sure, why not!Patrick31337 wrote:My school bus driver in high school used to go over this one hill way too fast, and we would be off the ground for a second and then come crashing down on the other side every day. The 388 will be around for quite a while... I'm sure I will get an opportunity at some point. Though the 757 and 717 are high on my priority list at the moment.Quan Vo wrote:there are not so many people get a chance to fly the awesome a380...
