Please. Ground elevation and map polygons shouldn't shine the same way the airplanes do with light/shading

Re: Your YSFlight Wishlist
totally agree. I actually preferred the aircraft non-shiney, but i'd compromise at the scenery.Scarecrow wrote:Non shiny ground.

As I've heard as a consensus, everybody hates this. But nobody had really said anything about it, and figured we hated it enough CaptainYS would already know

Re: Your YSFlight Wishlist
- Vapor/Contrails on the wings moved to 8Gs or higher.
- Nonshiny ground. PLEASE
- Some of the default aircraft modified a bit (Ex. Default Blackjack has a bent wing)
- A bit more missions to open up and fly on
- A little bit more default maps (like one or two at least)

There is way more that I would type, but I don't feel like typing it in.

I definitely agree that it should be higher than 4G or at least more transparent.Dtpilot247 wrote:- Vapor/Contrails on the wings moved to 8Gs or higher.

Re: YSFlight Wishlist
BTW post is shortened down from 1000 words to 560. Didn't have time to sort it out.

Just like the lock-on system, the radar scope should be edittable for certain aircraft, with the default being a fair average. Ability to edit/replace default HUD with custom ones. Set by PNGs and configuration files.

Title defines itself. The editting option can be used to change the speed of the effect (Ex. 20 to 70-120 kts.).

Damage points should be worth according to the position hit on a target (depending on armor radius).
Stored in a .dat or any setting file, each aircraft should have a custom radius (coll) divided into parts or rings, containing a certain damage level for each.

Effect -- Higher atltudes and speeds cause more damage than lower ones.

As stated earlier, non-gear landings should be possible but at a cost.

Explosion size differs on damage received or range hit. Works with damage radius so fire/explosions display at certain points (Ex. Center rather than wing tips).

Self-defined. [Failures more likely to occur/relaibility decreases] when damage is placed on an aircraft.

This option would allow users to access the cam (Ex. by holding right-click key to move view, recentered by r.c. double-tap) and use the turrent without advanced setups and controls (This is already possible by setting the mouse as x and y view axises, but does not allow control of turrent with same control).

Similar the F10 view. This enables users to move in their aircraft (for passenger and cargo vessels). Accessed by Ctrl + F10 keys. Restraints edittable in aircraft's custom settings.

Gives server/client mode options to disable externel views (F2, F3, F4, F6, F7, F8, F9, F10) when certain speeds are reached (Ex. after 0.5 kts.).

This allows multiple users (with in-game PM invitation - yes/no opt.) to control certain points of an aircraft's system (permissions given by pilot) such as A/P, gear, lights, turrents, and flight controls (when switiched over by pilot).

Allows one to shut down and start up engines (Code Ex.: switiching on/off fuel consumption), also stopping/starting prop./jet animations, lights, HUD, radar, etc systems with it. Also added in list of aircraft failures.

Self-defined. Depending on size of aircraft and hangar (Code Ex.: Uses respawn switch if necessary).

Sets A/P to activate following last angle and speed. Useful for ascent/descent procedures in airliners and an addition to Helicopters' A/P systems. Title-defined. Regional comms. set to certain radar lengths. Server chat and in-game PMs cover whole area. Merges all axixs, triggers/buttons, and keys under placement of any function, not only to those in its current domain (Ex. Axis 1 = Chat).

Darker atmosphere at higher altitudes. Gradual color changes in sky to simulate dusk, midnight, dawn, morning, noon, etc. (must be allowed in map's config). Change affects lighting direction and aircraft shadow position.

Allows custom weather settings other than wind on server mode: clouds, overcast,... Effect is initiated at a custom setting (Ex. such as 7.0'G rather than 4.0'G). Also increases/decreases transparency level or length at different G's. Allows custom sounds to be played instead of default ones by configuration in .dat file (lag issues may apply though).

A simple controlled character is ejected from the plane (contains ground object abilities while in xyz motion). Plane exits at 5 second delay. Player is displayed as "left aircraft" when he exits simulation not bails.

Adds more effects in the rendering options (Ex. Transparent shadows)

Re: YSFlight Wishlist
The first is obvious, land your float plane on any area marked as water.
For the second, it would be best if it went through a day/night cycle every few hours, maybe every 2 hours (or custom cycle lengths for server managers), with a sun that slowly rises in the east in the morning and sits in the west an hour later, then an hour of night starting with a lightly-lit evening, very dark midnight, and slowly getting brighter until the sun rises for the next cycle.

Re: YSFlight Wishlist
Sounds, by this I mean being able to hear the sounds of other aircraft/land vehicles as they pass by you.
Float planes being able to land in water, and watercraft control, including regular boats and aircraft carriers.
Player character that can leave and walk around and enter different aircraft vehicles and ships. It will be a more realistic way to switch vehicles, and it'll add to the gameplay and immersiveness especially if they're armed.
Ability to transport cargo such as ground vehicles, small aircraft, player characters, ammunition etc. Just something else to make the gameplay more interesting. Flying heli's with sling loads will be fun, and don't landing on flying aircraft carriers xD.
