Aircraft and Vehicles page

Hey YSFHQ,

Our "Aircraft and Vehicles" page looks sort of empty right now: http://ysfhq.com/ysflight/aircraft-and-vehicles/

So...what should we put in it? War Thunder has a really advanced listing of aircraft (see here) which wouldn't necessarily work for YS if we were to include addons as well. However, I do like the idea of showing off some cool addons that we have. What do you think we should do?

My idea: show off some classic stock aircraft, but focus primarily on high-quality addon aircraft, as well as some vehicles (cars, tanks, boats, etc.). We could have an image grid of all the aircraft, with titles, and upon clicking the thumbnail you get the big screenshot of the aircraft as well as some additional information (either a description of the aircraft or some parameters from the .DAT file).

Suggestions?

Everything by Martin lol.

TF58's 747 and Piaggio Avanti.
Flash's Vulcan's or Lightning's.
Kuro's Aggressor F-16's.
Iceman's everything (I'm fond of the Gripen).

There are an unlimited amount. I'll let everyone else state their choices.

GRENIUM's F-16's
Umaibow's F-15's and his other aircraft are awesome
SAP's pack (PAK FA, BD-5J, Cricri, Geebee, and some other really neat planes)
CHF's 777's
Decaff's 737's when they're done

Can't think of more on top of what's been said already. YS has tons of amazing addons.

Sure, we could stack it with high quality stuff, but I personally think it'd be good to put in a lot of what people use. The stock F-16, or some variation of it, is always the high time aircraft. Despite their high use, we may wish to shy away from squadron aircraft on that page due to their somewhat exclusive nature. I think Philster's suggestions do a particularly good job of reflecting planes that are popular on the servers, and fairly good looking. I don't think any list, or showcase, would be complete without at least some variant of the GAC collection - be it the original, the repaint, or our own numerous modifications to that base.

I am in agreement with Bomb on this.A good X section of what is available should be shown.Not just High detail but stock,GAC,Birdfarm quality all should be represented so as not to give an erroneous impression that all there is is High detail.

I agree with Gunny, label the different detail classes and list a few of the requirements for the birdfram, GAC, etc so ppl know why they look so "horrible"

Agree with the three posts above me as well. I'm not saying anyone iswrong, but we should at least consider the planes or packs that adds variety and' flavor"to Ys. Be it high quality or low detailed.

Yes, but don't neglect or shadow the high quality just because GAC or birdfarm is low lag. Many players are coming in with better pc's that can handle YS' graphics very well and HQ may not be a problem for them. The stock F-16 doesn't get old, but personally, I never fly stock aircraft.

My point exactly. The reason I didn't mention them is because someone else has.
I mean, come on! Just look at these and I DARE you to say that they aren't gorgeous or well made?

Meh, I tend to do that often in reallife too.

Eric did mention to get ready for some "deployment orders" on chat. I think he already got the shortlist sorted out now.
