Post by Silver Sergeant » Wed Feb 05, 2014 2:45 am

what is the highest height you have ever achieve?
for me its 75 000 feets wit euro fight on ww3 server, and may I ask you guys if there is any tips to go higher?
its a real thriller flying straight up but it can never maintain a level flight latter, it can only go down, what is the highest manoeuvrable height you can go?

As far as stock aircraft go, I've done 108,040ft. But if your looking to take yourself waaay up there, go make a dat back up of what ever plane and screw with the original dat for 18 or so hours until you've got it where you wan't it like Midnight Rambler did with the 42south admin plane. After you have your insanely fast plane finished, spawn, hit that throttle, take off and bring that nose up to a 90 degree angle. You should see something like this.> Image

p.s. I reached 5363780ft :3

3.40282347E+38 feet.

MASSIVE glitch in YS, flew as such impossible speed that I flew through the ceiling, and then the number inverted and I slammed up into the ground at what I can only assume is -3.40282347E+38 feet.

I reach this conclusion as YSFlight stores it's data in floating point format.

This is the highest altitude anyone can reach.

so i imagine, the higher you go, the less speed you have and ultimatly you will stall or glide downwards?
or does ysflight not take this into account?

It's sort of a saying if i can say. Plus technically there is sort of a height limit in YS.
