This topic is for sending in UNEDITED YSFlight pictures for which TEN (10) most relevant to this month's theme shall be entered into a poll for the Picture of The Month (PoTM) section of the first ever edition of YS Newsletter. (Which I am Editor/CEO and creator of) This month's theme is "New Beginnings" (If people can't quite get what New Beginnings means for the pictures, I'll tell you. But for now you'll have to work it out yourselves )

Erm, in case you didn't read the first post, this topic is the thread for the PoTM section of YS Newsletter. I can't exactly go and pinch a picture out of the screenshot contest because those pictures wouldn't be relevant to the theme for PoTM in the YS Newsletter. "Wings of the middle east" (from the June submissions) is hardly relevant to the theme of "New Beginnings" for my newsletter. Anyway, I never intended this as a proper screenshot contest anyway, it's only ment for getting the picture for PoTM section in YSN (YS Newsletter).
Could you change the topic name to Picture of the month for YS Newsletter (June 2011) please erict? And I never knew you were a former server hacker, Erict.

didn't you get? Plus, this isn't in the screenshot contest area on purpose. It's ment to be in this screenshots area, not screenshot contest area because it isn't a contest for nothing (like the screenshot contests), it's the contest for getting your picture into MY newsletter.

Ok, now i'm getting confused. Would we be able to move onto the matter of the Picture of The Month (PoTM) now? I would like to get this sorted before the summer holidays, when I'm most likely to not to be able to get on the computer.
I wouldn't mind seeing one of your pics Waspe. I'm sure you'll cook up something good. And thanks for that well timed comment as well, this could well have possibly turned into some sort of war.

Look, there's an easy solution to this problem: use a different theme or make it a free for all on screenshots. It doesn't have to be the same thing! I see the concept behind this and approve. +1
The theme "New Beginnings" was one I made up, for this newsletter is a new thing, so I thought something new in a picture would have been good. So, either go along with my idea of picture of the month in YS Newsletter (shortened to YSN) or leave it and I'll do it myself.
(And if I'm sounding cranky, I've not slept well the last few nights due to baby half-brother crying in the night.)

Right, I'll change the theme. The theme will be "Carrier Ops". Same rules as before. Me and USCG Helo 1 shall pick out the best three to be put in the newsletter, all with a short description of what's in there, and who took the picture. You must get your pictures in by 10:00 PM July 28, 2011 (GMT). If you post them in after this date, they will not be considered by me and Helo for the PoTM section of the newsletter.

Nevermind the triple post, can a mod lock this topic. It seems people don't care about contributing to the YS Newsletter (YSN), so I'll do the pictures myself. I have a few people helping (USCG Helo 1, welshy and Dan from FAVA), but I doubt I'll get anyone else to help me. If you have pictures you want to send in, PM them directly to me. I thought more people would have sent things in or wanted to help, but I guess I was wrong.
