Boss A/F-747

Post by megaprime13 » Fri Apr 11, 2014 2:42 am

Okay, now before you guys yell at me, just understand that this is something which I myself cannot do because of lack of knowledge, extra circulars, skool, etc. Also, I looked EVERYWHERE for such a mod that I am requesting, and didn't find one.

SO....

Basically everything can stay stock (like the CokP and such) but what I list down below is what the requested changes are.

My wish is that someone would kindly make a 747 (using the default 747 as a base model) and modifying it to carry things like bombs, missiles, and an obscene amount of guns.

20 bombs, 20 missiles, 6000 bullets, and 50 flares would be awesome. Also, 5 allowable fuel tanks with 500 units of fuel, unless fuel tanks are only one capacity? (look, im not a YS code expert). Flares don't have to eject in any special way.

Like pictured, nose guns like a mig 15 or a f-86 sabre kind of deal would be fine. Wing guns like a p-51 are acceptable. bombs etc on fuelsalage and wings.

Image Sorry for the low quality picture.

Specs:

I would like some nice maneuverability, not anything too ridiculous. If it could dogfight like an f16, it would be comically practical. Anyway, the controls should definitely be something more responsive like a fighter jet, not the slow turn rate and snooze-like elevator authority like it is.

T-O speed- 100kts
Land w/flaps- 60 kts
Cruising speed- 650kts
top speed- Mach 2.5 (i don't want afterburner)
Fuel consumption- default is fine

P.S.the 4 engine smoke can stay. it's great for my aerobatics ;)

-----REQUESTED SPECS/ INFO-----
Nothing yet. Please ask if you need to know anything else. If you want a concept art thing, ill try and make it ASAP.

Please, if you need anything, tell me so I can git to it.

I'm sure the SOS Brigade has something similar.

If I'm not wrong, the 747 from that pack has quite a couple of guns and 2 F-5 fuselages on the wings for more guns.

That thing doesn't fly worth a crap though. It should at least use the stock 747 dat.

It's kind of like my B-130 Bomber concept. It's not practical as a fighter, but as a heavy bomber with manned gun turrets it would be something no ground object would want to see...and no interceptor could miss.

I'd love to see what you can come up with. Don't feel rushed though, this isn't some urgent thing.

Why the stock 747 as a base? As a model, it's bad.

Like flake said. Ideally I want a model that needs little to no work done on the actual plane whatsoever. It's like buying a car that can drive and putting a loud exhaust pipe on it rather than buying the parts and making it from scratch.

It's as quick and as easy to get another more detailed model and grab the stock 747's .dat. Where's the problem in that?

Where's the problem in using the default? if you want, you can download it and put a detailed model in instead of the stock version.

The point was less work goes into modifying the stock 747.
