[moddesc=http://www.mediafire.com/?ooh4dk2af3srasa]DESCRIPTION OF MODThis is the course that will be used at the first YSAS Air Race that will take place during the YSAS Independance Day Air Expo (Friday, July 22nd, 2011 - 12:00pm CST, 1:00pm EST, 6:00pm GMT). It is on the stock Hawaii map for practice just south West of Honolulu International Airport.
The course:
Cross the start line at no more than 200 knots, any faster will give you a 2 second penalty,
It's then straight on through the first gate after witch you hang a left
And head to the second gate, only 1 pylon go round the out side before cutting in to the in side of the third gate and the back to the out side for the fourth gate
You then swoop right to gate number five only to pull high G's on the exit
Heading right for the cross over straight through gate six before swinging around to cross over while passing the seventh
The a left into gate eight before coming back on yourself to pass gate nine
Then it's a tight 180 at the tenth gate to cross the start/finish line.

The timed lap of this course will be once around the course.

Awesome. I assume there's no knife-edge/level requirements on these gates?

I thought keep it simple is best for now. I will look at making the tracks harder as we get going. I suggest using the Extra-300 from Wic-works, since that is the dat that I will be using for the Birdfarm Extra-300.

So it may not look the best but will have good performance, and that's all that matters.

Nice track but can you mark the route along the ground with objects or is it up to us to remember when to do loop turns?

You need to install the ground objects to see the pylons that you fly through.

Open it up, then go to save as, then change the 'save as' box to all files and save as hawaii.fld

You only have to go around it once, get the practice in man. I did it in 1:30 something, felt slow to me.

I probably sound like a whiney four year old by now, but can we change the stability lines in the WicWorks Extra 300 to these? Makes it a little easier to fly.

Done, changed in the dat. I did say 2 laps, but with a time in the 1 minute time and up to 10 pilot s to get round the track. I thought a 2 minute run for each person would be toooo long.

When I was practicing I did not know which pylon was which besides the start pylon.

That's why I included the map above that shows you the route. and a description of the course under it. First few times, try not to go for a timed lap, just learn the course and once you know the course go for some quick laps.

Could you guys upload a replay for me to watch to see how you guys are finding the course and if you are even gettign it right lol
