This Italian plane was designed to compete in a 1939 air race, but never flew, and recently, a group of enthusiasts have begun a full scale reproduction.

I believe I missed a go before, hope it is not minded if I claim it now!

This aircraft was developed as a private venture, but it resulted in being created as a trainer for the RAF & as the aircraft for two famous air show groups, under a different name.

It's kinda Funnybone's turn.

What is the BAE Hawk?

There, I give my non-legit turn to Mr. Funnybone.

. . . ok Tucano. Don't care if I'm right or wrong. You're still taking someone else's turn and kinda derailing the thread.

Ok - I'm sorry - just before I was waiting for Colbalt, to tell me if I got it right or wrong and some else carried on.....

To give the answer I was looking for: What is the Folland Midge?

MrFunnybone - please carry on - sorry for any bother.
