The previous topic had SC confused thinking it was a roleplay rather than a topic looking for people to help make AC aircraft. I guess that was deleted and this was a play on words. I got a smirk out of itStingx wrote:I don't get it.

Have a look see if any of those can be updated or incorporated. Asking those modders would help you too I think.
I have never played AC3, what kind of sceneries are used there?
As you said you are an experienced modder, have you got some add-ons already that you've made before?
Btw, where are you from? Are you using a translation site for your post?
Please dont reword the title though. I like it. Seriously.

"A new member started a confusing thread and it got locked. What happened next will blow your mind! Seriously!"

Ace Combat-inspired planes have been popular in YSF for as long as I can remember (which, sadly, gets shorter ever day), and several people have been working on them recently.

How detailed is the plane in your first post? (MB size?)
I think you'll need to find a balance between detail and flyability as YS flight doesn't do too well if multiplayers are all flying hyper detailed craft.
I just had a look at screenies from AC3, looks pretty good with the textures. The maps would be small, but full of targets and elevation/buildings. Would you make the craft really strong to endure several hits with missiles or keep em weak for quicker game-play?

and the plane is not a heavy polygon count i realize that with more detail more lag so im testing out crafts with specific poly counts to understand the engines behavior but the actual plane file itself is 606 kb
