Radar Screen Instrument
Radar Screen Instrument
Would anything like this be possible for an E-2 or an E-3, where it can have a working radar screen instrument/console as one of the views instead of relying on something like YS ATC client or the standard radar, which has a lack of detail on a small scale?

Re: Radar Screen Instrument
As you know, aircraft can have autotracking gun on turret (if controlled by "TURRETCT 0 GUNNER" in dat), that follow nearest enemy aircraft.OfficerFlake wrote:Wait, what? This trick used here, also it use two turrets that limited in 180 degries, thanks that it can clearly give an answer were enemy aircraft is.

Re: Radar Screen Instrument
So one is a child of the other I assume and that allows the aircraft to be "drawn" on the radar? (Well, the nearest aircraft anyway.)

Re: Radar Screen Instrument
It isn't mine, although it does seem to be based on a repaint I did from Oranleed's F5 to make the Sundowner pack complete.
This radar idea is nifty, and seems to be transferable to other planes.
Just got to take the items from the DNM and re-place them in the new cockpit (few centimeters in front of the radar screen would do it).

Yes, copy-past is easy, but, think, all of us need details how create similar thing from scratch!ysmajor wrote:Just got to take the items from the DNM and re-place them in the new cockpit (few centimeters in front of the radar screen would do it).
