Re: TeamSpeak Usage
We had a user (in which will be unnamed) who had brought various of his friends on to our Teamspeak to play a different game. Unfortunately, all of those people were there for the purpose of that game and not YSFlight. They had zero past YSFlight experience and their first exposure of YS by using our Teamspeak - isn't really the way to do it.
YSFlight "people" wishing to use Teamspeak to play other games is fine. I'll be happy to give you all your own dedicated channel, too. It's the outsiders being invited in for the wrong purpose (not YSFlight) in which is the issue this was brought up in the first place.
I hope this fixed any questions.
Thanks (:

Well now it all makes sense. +2Scarecrow wrote:I think we have strayed away from the actual meaning of this being addressed.

Re: TeamSpeak Usage
Why didn't you say this in the first place! We all got confused. I'm 100% pro this. I hate it when people join the Teamspeak to use the server for a different game and have no connection with YS whatsoever.Scarecrow wrote:I think we have strayed away from the actual meaning of this being addressed.

In all seriousness, no matter what you think, it's good that as a community we can still have fairly civil discussions like this one.

Re: TeamSpeak Usage
Yeah. From the admin discussion it seemed like you (SC) wanted to keep the TS strictly YS, nothing else. But now that we've got that cleared up, I've updated the original post, changing the wording around a bit. Let me know if this works, or if it still needs changes. (also updated TS rules, check those)wingzfan99 wrote:WELL I'M GLAD WE ALL FREAKING AGREE NOW

I think this is the progress that has been made in the last 6-12 months. The fact people are getting on better and talking things through without the unnecessary aggression is great to seewingzfan99 wrote:In all seriousness, no matter what you think, it's good that as a community we can still have fairly civil discussions like this one.
