How do I make my mouse control the turret?

I once heard that when you set your controls to keyboard, the turret can be controlled with the mouse. I wanted to do this because for some reason when I try to move my turret with my arrow keys it just stops moving. But when I set my controls to keyboard the turret cannot be controlled and I can only fire my weapons when I press spacebar. Can someone help me with this?

For some reason, it still won't rotate. I've tested this with the stock AH-1. I've adjusted all the controls.

Stock AH-1 doesn't actually have a turret, for whatever reason. Use the stock AH-64

Did you test it with the stock AH-64? TF's Spooky might not have a turret. And if it does, I don't think turret control is active while in autopilot, if you were trying it that way

I tried with no autopilot and still won't work with the Apache. Idk if my ys hates mouse controls for turrets.

Try binding mouse to pitch/roll and see if it works there

I can finally control the turret with my mouse so I don't have to worry. But I still have to practice flying with WASD and separate set to neutral buttons.

You'd be better off just binding the turret control to WASD or the arrow keys and leaving the mouse to fly, because keyboard controls are uniquely horrible for YS. I wouldn't recommend trying to use the mouse for the turret unless you have a stick or other controller to supplant the mouse control with.

I switched to using the arrow keys for my turret controls recently. I was hoping to use my joystick Hat switch but it turns out ysflight doesn't like that. I switched between dedicated control sensitivity to having a toggle to free up some space on my keyboard to also bind the "return turret to neutral" command which is very valuable.
