so,
the P8-I is almost done, :)

but now there is a problem....
after removing the previous pilots and adding new pilots, i exported the model.... but even after export though i put the new pilots on their respective seats.....
why do they prefer to jump out and sit nowhere???
why?
why?
Thanks a lot... :)

I can happily release this P8 now.... :)
Except for this problem :(

Yup you are right the seats were not comfortable...!
i asked the pilot, he told me to bring his 'empty' in parallel with him,

i did that!
thanks to you, now he finds his seat comfortable ;)

Check the model in textured view to see if the normals are flipped. If anything, you can try recalculating the normals outside by Crtl-N.

So,
WIP:

Did the other half of Dornier Do-228....(copy paste basically  :geek: )
do228prob4.png
but though i exported the model from the above screenie, and copied it to YS Flight....

This is how it turns out to be in YSFS:

Yeah looks like you still have some of the normals problem (looking thru the model to the other side and seeing color there) along with some copy-paste issues. take a careful look at the right wing and look to see if the transform properties window shows any parent (top right textbox). If not then select the right wing and press ctrl-a-1 to reset the object rotations and scaling to match what you are visually seeing in blender. (numbers change but the mesh itself should not move)

Thanks decaff_42, I tried it, it did solve the issue of wing orientation....

but normals, still has a issue.....

it has no parent so i clicked as you said Ctrl+a+1, it worked...

Then did Ctrl+n, it did not do anything....

can you please correct me if i am going wrong somewhere or missing something??

The ctrl N needs to be done when you have the object in EDIT Mode and you have all the faces selected.
As a quick review for you, google: "Blender 2.4 Wiki Normals" and look around the first site (Blender WIki) for information about Recalculating Normals. Perhaps reading through that resource will be more helpful

Those aircrafts look nice :)
The A380 is ahead of its time. With the resilient passenger traffic growth for times to come (reference from Airbus's Global Market Forecast), plus congested airports, the A380 could not be ignored.

ok, thanks a lot guys :)

both worked on the B737 SpiceJet model......does not seem to work on the IndiGo A320 model...

testing at present will edit this post if any changes :)

Thanks again :)

EDIT:
1) Negative, good sirs :) it doesn't wrap, it pops out.....

Well that doesn't matter now, as the amount of popping has decreased :)

2) work on new neo engine in good progress :) (I can't put screenshots up right now, sorry about that :) )

Can you describe what you mean by that? Shrinkwrap is always going to be slightly away from the fuselage or whatever you are wrapping around. If you are not applying the shrinkwrap modifier before exporting as a DNM file, then it should appear as if the decal is simply floating in space. However this does not look to be the problem from your screenshot.
