Hello all! I've figured it out. There are TWO changes you must make in order for the PC12's to work.
Change one: add the prefix air_ to the filenames of the LST files, so they become air_pc12.lst and air_pc12_2.lst
the LST files go in the aircraft directory in your YSFlight folder
Change two: You must edit both lst files and switch the last two file paths with each other. the files are supplied listing these files in the wrong order and to fix this, the second half of that file should read exactly this:
user/gunny/pc_12/pc12_coll.srf user/gunny/pc_12/pc12_cock.srf

Make those two changes and you should find that the PC12's work perfectly.
