Hello from a new YSflyer

Post by CyberPostPunker »

Hello people,

I am CyberPostPunker. I recently discover YSFlight. I was so surprised by the good quality of this flight simulator: quantity of map and aircraft, long range flight with VOR, Landing with ILS, and the very fun combat.
My favorites airplanes on this sim are the Cessna 172, B-747, SU-27, SU-25, and P51.
My favorites map are Hawaii and THE_ALPS.

I will probably often fly on the server “josh's server” (play.rebornnation.net). I tried it today. Work great but sadly I was alone… For my first full flight with the B-747, I takeoff HNL and landed successfully in Hilo. I will train I little more and probably ask to join a virtual airline.

I look forward to fly with you on a server.

Thanks.

Welcome! Servers tend to be a bit quiet during the middle of the week.

Friday Night Flights on the YSCAS server at 0015 UTC we get some folks doing civilian flights. 187 server gets a lot of activity in the weekend evenings (Japan Time)

Hi decaff_42,
OK, a lot of thanks for your information :-)
So, if I am not too busy this weekend, I will try to join your suggested server.

Best regards.

The issue will be timezones. I live in the UK and have to stay up well beyond midnight in order to be on servers at the same time as others, mainly we start around 0000 GMT on Friday evening/Saturday morning and sometimes have specia events which are normally at much more reasonable times.

Hi Welshy, yes, I have the same problem like you: the timezones. I live in Switzerland… OK, thanks for the infos. When I can, i will stay up Friday evening/Saturday morning.
