Took a bit of a long break from studying today. Booted up YS and did some dogfighting and casual flying.
First up is a duel I setup between me in the Sabre and the MiG-15 "Faggot". A bit of a twist and turn here and there, and I managed to splash the commie jet with a single quick burst of my 6 MG's.




The Ysflight particle effects looks pretty under Anti-Aliasing. Perfect for some foreground effects


And lastly, I decided to recreate this shot I discovered from reddit a few weeks back.



Apart from the clouds, I'm pretty happy with how it eventually turned out. B-17 and P-51 made by Tf58, with the P-51 repainted by Ricm.

What do you guys think?

Those shots are fantastic! Especially the WWII formation and I think it looks as close as it can get to the picture beneath it.

Is the bomber/mustang picture edited? The clouds look like something from MSFS and the planes look like they have light shining on them.

In other words the picture looks too real.

He used the new Open GL 2 version for the screen caps Pat.But you pay a hefty price for those new features in lag I only get at best 5-6 FPS.But it is good for replays to get screen caps.

Oh. OpenGL 2 doesn't even work on my computer. Some day I'm going to have to get a real graphics card.

I flew from Guam to Honolulu in the Elite, NCC-31337th Ganges Class runabout with chameleon circuit "borrowed" from some people on a time-locked planet by Section 31.

Hover-taxi to runway at Guam. About to turn off the chameleon circuit. Chameleon circuit off, going hypersonic. Approaching Honolulu with the chameleon circuit activated About to get fuel at PHNL.
