Really surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet on YSFHQ, but our own Capitol has been attacked by gunmen, leaving one soldier and it seems one other victim dead, as well as a single suspect.
Sauce!

Probly not on HQ cuz it's not airplane related, but still... Pretty disturbing stuff, we don't see this kind of thing happenning often up here in Canada. My condolences to the victim's family and I hope every one else will be fine. can't wait to know the reason it has happened.

Unfortunately Gentlemen I think Canada will be seeing more in the years to come as well as the rest of the world.

This is definitely a sad occurrence! Unfortunately, mass shootings and attacks like these are becoming common in today's world... Especially in the United States. It seems like every time you turn the News on something horrible has happened... I will be thinking about our neighbors to the North!

A powerful picture! Both soldiers on guard duty that day at the Memorial had UNLOADED C7A2 rifles... here they laid while Cpl. Nathan Cirillo received CPR in the background. Fatally shot in the chest....

Their optics were covered, as well. Soldiers are so often asked to stand guard with unloaded guns, unable to do much if an attack happens. To the average citizen they are a symbol of security, which is why they are important targets for people who want to terrorize citizens.
This isn't like gang warfare or organized crime anymore. We now face an enemy that may never visit a training camp or even leave the country. I really don't know how you fight that without severely limiting the rights of the people, and that may well be the goal of these attackers in the first place. They've found our weakness and the best way to exploit it, and I'm afraid it's going to get worse.

^Definitely man, thoughts are with our neighbours up north. Such "people" if you can call them that are just sorry excuses for humans. Reminds me of the attacks in Mumbai not too long ago when the whole city was under siege. No place on this planet for terrorists.
