Post by Gennaro » Tue Oct 16, 2012 1:57 pm

An Indonesian Air Force Hawk 200 crashed today in Riau province.

No casualties were reported on the ground.

The pilot was able to eject before the aircraft crashed.

The cause of the crash is still unknown but it might be the cause of an engine failure.

Air force officials and media weren't allowed to take pictures or get close to wreckage because the aircraft were carrying missiles and bombs that might still be live during the crash , until now details of the crash isn't released yet for undisclosed reasons.

The Indonesian air force's fleet of Hawk 200 are now grounded until further notice.
