The only people I know of who still play this around here are Juli, Nath and maybe BG.
If none of you remember, AOS is essentially a mix of World War 1 battles with Minecraft's destruction and construction elements. The only difference being that structures will actually be destroyed in AOS if they aren't being held up by anything.
Just recently, the community that kept the game going made an OpenGL-based clone of AOS called OpenSpades. OS is essentially AOS with better graphics, beefed up animations, shader effects, motion blur, and other things; my favorite of which being weapon spread guides. This helps a lot with judging the spread on the battle rifle.
The best thing about it is that even OpenSpades can run on a bad computer. In the last update came the ability to make OS run with software rendering, which is exactly what YS does. It takes the heat off of the GPU and puts it on the CPU, which boosts your FPS considerably.
