Tonight on Venom's server, SC, Venom, and I as well as some others who joined us (Bombcat, Gizmos) decided to fly in some low visibility conditions around Hawaii at night. SC instructed Venom on flying ILS approaches and IFR flight procedures, while I provided ATC for all phases of their flight from clearance to TAC. We had tons of fun! I learned a bunch on controlling in IFR conditions (Turbo, we may need to add to the manual) and Venom learned a bunch and flew some pretty nice approaches (and had some SERIOUS scares!!!).
Anyways, here's some shots of the results of the approaches, as well as the vectors I gave them. I used Skyvector to vector Venom around terrain and to the correct ILS approaches. I also pulled up some of the ILS approach plates through FlightAware and the airport diagrams from AirNav.
IFR Flight Plan from Dillingham to Honolulu. Skyhawk 171DB just landed on RW8L at HNL.

IFR Flight from Honolulu to Molokai. Rhino flight lands on RW23 at HMK.

Scarecrow and I had such a good time sharing our knowledge of Instrument flying and wouldn't mind doing something like this again. We may see more sessions like this again.
