You don't. It was never meant as an in-flight app.Strictly pre-flight planning.If you want to have a paper copy, do a screenshot and then print the screenshot for your kneeboard.

Will there be an update for this? I think it's needed. I've been getting a lot of new sceneries that use the new version of Scenery Editor and this can't seem to open them
