Looks nice and elegant to me. How often do they change their paint scheme?

Unfortunately the list to replace the Hawks of the Red Arrows is vary short if being quintessentially British is the main criteria. When I think modern British fighters the only aircraft that comes to my mind is the Panavia Tornado but still not quite quintessentially a British fighter and are due for retirement soon anyway.I say this not to be an ass but to illustrate that being quintessentially British may not be the best benchmark for choosing new aircraft for the Red Arrows and as for the F-35 I think those may be a bit expensive to take off the line as a Demo team particularly seven of them.Sadly to be vary honest I do not think there are any quintessentially British fighter aircraft any longer and mores the pity for it.We are witnessing the end of a proud British tradition. If I am wrong PLEASE tell me.I would love to be wrong in this instance.

They will eventually go to hawk t.2s. But I like this paint!
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for my signature, I can tell you I don't have one. But what I do have are a very particular lack of skills, skills I have imagined having over a very long career. Skills that make me are completely useless in any situation. If you stop reading now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't stop reading, I will look for you, I will probably not find you, and I will kill your refrigerator.

Why stop in the Cold War era? Restart production of the Spitfire Mk. V and then we'll talk!

I also jut noticed that even the insides of the main wheel fairing doors are painted red. I guess they're really serious about their paintschemes.

Oh I don't like the red colour. Maybe blue one would be better?

So, the Purple Arrows then?

Who says we can't combine the two?

I think Zak might be making a "what if" red arrows pack now.
