My first flight was on Northwest in 1999 on a trip to Colorado. I was in the 1st grade at the time and loved it, except for the long period of not being able to go anywhere but the seat. Not sure what plane we were on, I was like barely 6 years old.

My first solo flight was from FZY to SYR a whopping 19 NM SW in a T-6 but when your 16 and your first solo I felt like I just circumnavigated the world.

My first flight took place back in 2000, just before I turned seven...we flew out to Oregon to visit my dad's side of the family. I still vividly remember crossing the Rockies and being astonished that there was snow on the mountaintops in June.

First flight, barely remember. Had to be 6-8 years old on a Northwest (

) flight from KIND to KMCO for a trip to Disney World. I remember decending but feeling like the plane sunk in deep steps (maybe it was turbulent or I just didn't get it yet). Clouds that day were particularly awesome too.

My very first flight was riding door gunner in a UH-1 last August. First time in a fixed wing was in a GlaStar EAA Young Eagles flight. Free flight. Free stick time. Oh yeah.
Am I back? Probably not.

Ive been told that flying from Hawaii to here was when I was 3 in whatever plane Hawaiian Airways uses. That was my first ever flight and all I remember was landing. The first flight I know most of was not too long after that when we took an AirTran 737 to Dallas, Texas, and flew back in the same plane.

In 1988 I was either five or six, I was on the Kindergarten playground and decided to go down the big slide. I was wearing a jacket. It was blue and had a hood and zipper. The zipper got caught in a crack between the handles and the frame of the slide. I was stuck there, about FL350 (probably closer to four feet) for several days (probably closer to a minute) before a teacher finally freed me. I have had a severe fear of heights ever since. The bottom line is, in the words of B.A. Baracus, "I ain't gettin' on no plane, fool."

For me it was back when I was about 4, we flew from Glasgow to Tenerife with the British holiday operator which I'm sure my fellow Brits will remember -Air Tours! It was a 757-200 and ever since I fell in love with aviation. A few years later we returned to Benidorm after air tours ceased operations and was bought by my travel. I like this thread! Let's keep it going

my first ever flight was in a MD-82 Operated by Spanair flying from Cardiff to Palma (CWL - PMI). It was in 2001 so we had all the nice metal knifes, spoons and forks, I actually still have the spanair fork! The best thing about this flight was entering the aircraft from the rear steps between the two engines at the back. The aircraft was a beast though I wish I could of remembered the journey a bit more.

Fist flight was when I was five. 707 of Pan Am, from Heathrow to JFK New York, to visit relatives. Don't remember about the flight, but do remember some of the things that took place in the US..
Remember coming down in the elevator, from the 86th floor, of the Empire State Building, where it had just started to rain. And coming out at ground level, and due to the wind blowing up the side of it. Finding it just starting to rain.

Fliped out of the arena, again!
