Greetings from the Philippines!

I have been playing YSFlight since 2005 and it is still a favorite of mine even after all these years. I'm also a self-proclaimed planespotter and I snap pictures of actual planes at every opportunity. Hoping to become a licensed pilot someday, but for now, YSFlight is the next best thing. :)

I eagerly look forward to what this community as a whole still has to offer, not the least of which are the addons. :D My sincerest thanks to all to those who went to great lengths to make accurate models and paints of the planes of Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, AirPhilippines (now PAL Express), and our very own air force.

The A380 is ahead of its time. With the resilient passenger traffic growth for times to come (reference from Airbus's Global Market Forecast), plus congested airports, the A380 could not be ignored.

Welcome Tong. You should get on the civav server when ever you fly and maybe well meet! Maybe we can do some island hopping or a tokyo to lax flight, whatever we do well have fun. :mrgreen:

My general rant: I will call them blended winglets, not Sharklets; There is no CEO, it's just simply put, an Airbus 319/320/321, or the 320NEO, 321NEO etc. I didn't land IN DAL, I landed AT DAL. On the other hand, I did land in Dallas.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm more into offline flying, partly because of internet issues (i.e. slowest internet in all of Southeast Asia and all that). :lol: I will, however, engage in some of the discussions (as appropriate). :)

Greetings! Welcome to YSFHQ. Seeing as you are from the Philippines, have you flown on the Philippines map? Not a complete map of the Philippines, but it's something!

Are you more interested in Civilian or Military flying? There's a pretty good selection of both available for YSFlight and you can find links to many of them at http://www.ysfinder.net.

Indeed, I have gotten a lot of my addons with the help of YSFinder. I'm more into virtual military flying (I hope I won't get in trouble here for saying I'm also into the Strike Fighters series of games for Android. :? ), but I also try virtual commercial flying every once in a while for a change of pace. :lol:

By the way, if you guys are interested, I have an Instagram account (@tongderbolt) wherein I've recently begun posting my screenshots of Philippine commercial planes (You can also find photos of actual planes, old churches, food, beer, coffee, and my Nerf guns among other things there.). I've done some research as to who the original modders are, but I might have missed a few (or a LOT), and my mother always taught me to give credit where credit is due. :lol:

You are free to follow me, and if the people I credited for the mods are not actually the ones who made those, please feel free to point out who the deserving individuals are and I will gladly make the necessary corrections in my captions and tags. :)
