Warbirds over Wanaka Airshow

Well, here it is.
This is a map of Wanaka Airport and the surrounding mountainous area. Wanaka is a popular ski and summer resort town in the lower South Island of New Zealand and the nearby domestic airport is the site of the famous biennial Warbirds over Wanaka airshow, the largest warbird airshow in the Southern Hemisphere and the largest airshow in New Zealand. Or so it is said... The map also includes a luxury resort called Minaret Station, in the mountains northwest of Lake Wanaka.
This map is in two versions; airshow (based on Warbirds over Wanaka) and normal. It's also my first map released to the public. Enjoy!

Ground objects you will require:

• ► PMNV Ground Objects pack
  ► TF58's ground objects
  ► Airbourne's Ground Objects

Google Maps for the elevation grid texture
Ollivier & Co for the NZ DEM data used in creating the main elevation grid

Installation:
Click the big red link below and merge the 'scenery' and 'user' folders inside the .zip into your YSF install directory.

NB: The maps at the link below uses a texture on the elevation grid and as a result can only be used with the 20150425 or above version of YSF.

Untextured map available here ---> Wanaka Untextured
I recommend only using the untextured versions if you absolutely have to. Please note you can only have either the textured or non-textured version installed at once, but not both.

Nice!! I don't make scenery but I've never seen hills that look like that, it's like they actually have real textures (i'm used to seeing hawaii's mountains)

Because it is the download link. If you click download, you get the current or most up-to-date YSF version.

Honestly, I'm not sure how this page is being updated and taken care of, but it managed to carry over the new version last year but the 2012 and 2013 versions are not listed. Even Soji's download link from his site takes you here.

Download link now available on the main page. I am conducting a server test on YSFNZ right now to see if they are compatible. They should be.

It appears that by making the scenery in the test version, it makes it in a different format to prior versions and as a result cannot be used by versions before 20150425. I apologise to those who depended upon my work on converting it to earlier versions.

Any one is welcome to have a go at making it compatible with earlier versions, but otherwise my only advice is to update to the latest version.

I took care of it. I removed the texture on the elevation grid, and converted it to make it usable for 2009 scenery editor. So now it should be able to open in any YSFlight version and any scenery editor version.
Please note the elevation grid is now white without a texture, but you can go and apply color gradation or whatever you want!

The post was directed to kiwiflieger so he could color it himself and then upload it, I just removed the textures. Just be patient.

Many thanks to Lor599 for fixing the compatibility issues - I have updated the untextured map link with the new files and also updated the map credits, with special thanks to Lor599 . I am conducting a server test now (2310 UTC) to check everything works for sure.
