Check that you can load the map offline and no errors occur in start-up.

Did you put the other files into the user folder?

The sce*.lst file has to go in the scenery folder. You can open that in Notepad (if you use Windows) and see the exact file path. In the case of CMI Extended, it will look like this:

Code: Select all

user/TF_CMI-E/CMI_Extended.fld user/TF_CMI-E/CMI_Extended.stp
So all you had to do is open the zip file and drag the user folder directly into your YS folder and drag the .lst file into your scenery folder.

i dont get the file path stuff, im not smart with file things. i did the bottom part (putting the user folder in the YS folder and putting the .Ist file into the scenery folder) and it still didnt work (im trying to connect to the YS Civil Aviation server, but i also tested offline and it didnt work there either)

Here is how the file path works. You have your main YS folder. In there you have a "user" folder. When you open the "user" folder, you should find a folder called "TF_CMI-E". When you open that, you should find CMI_Extended.fld and CMI_Extended.stp.

The file path is just the list of folders, user/TF_CMI-E/

Did you download the extra files needed for the map? You need PMNV's object pack, TF58's map pack, Airbourne's object pack, HotelFox's object pack, and KZS' S and M packs.

I found the TF_CMI-E Folder needed to be placed into the main YSFlight directory...

I copy and pasted the file path directly from the .lst. It goes to the user folder.
