^That's definitely weird, even for you guys.

Currently, 75F with scattered storms. Won't have to water the plants today, woot! Highs later this week will be in the mid-90s, with plenty of humidity around, especially after recent rains.

My general rant: I will call them blended winglets, not Sharklets; There is no CEO, it's just simply put, an Airbus 319/320/321, or the 320NEO, 321NEO etc. I didn't land IN DAL, I landed AT DAL. On the other hand, I did land in Dallas.

Amazingly enough, copy/paste the above for today. Only thing different about this morning's storms are the lightning strikes causing quite a ruckus around us. Hey, that rhymed! :P

After a rainy stretch of days (starting Friday last week and going into Sunday), the heat is on, albiet with lots of evapo-transpiration from wet ground and vegetation. That of course means very hot conditions. Expecting a high of around 98F today with dewpoints in the high 60s.

The hot weather will continue for the rest of this week.

It was really hot this morning. Then a fast-moving storm came down from Missouri and cooled things off significantly.

We got a sand cloud looming over Houston at the moment. It's a bit hard to breathe out there. And it's hot but not as humid. Last thing I need is feeling sweaty and sticky and dirty.

At 9:40p.m. ...

The high today was 105F with a dewpoint in the low 60s. This caused the heat index to soar into the 110s. I like hot weather but even I must admit this borders on ridiculous. The high tomorrow will be around 109F with a slightly lower dewpoint. Blast furnace anyone?

Currently 103F with heat index of 107F. Pretty sure this is the hottest day of the year so far (expecting a high of 109F).

On another note, looks like a severe weather outbreak might be brewing to our east.
